Borussia Monchengladbach finally halted their alarming winless streak on Friday, staging a dramatic comeback to defeat Stuttgart 3-2 in an exhilarating five-goal encounter away from home.
Entering the match at the bottom of the Bundesliga standings, the visiting side faced immense pressure after failing to secure a single victory in their opening six league fixtures of the campaign.
According to reports by BBC Sport, the hard-fought triumph required extraordinary grit as the squad overturned a deficit to claim their breakthrough three points at the seventh attempt.
With this momentum-shifting victory now secured, Monchengladbach will look to build upon their newfound confidence as they prepare for their upcoming league fixtures and attempt to climb further away from the relegation zone.
