Nagaland Social Welfare Advisor Wangpang Konyak Unveils Major Regional Infrastructure

KOHIMA — In a significant boost to regional infrastructure, Nagaland's Advisor for Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak, inaugurated the newly constructed amphitheatre at Highland Park in Kohima and virtually unveiled a series of departmental assets across the state on Tuesday.
The rollout is designed to address longstanding infrastructural deficits within the region's public welfare framework, ensuring that communities across different districts gain access to upgraded administrative and recreational facilities. State planners have prioritized these enhancements to bridge development gaps and foster stronger community cohesion.
According to reports by the Nagaland Post, the inauguration event highlighted the government's ongoing commitment to executing grassroots development projects efficiently, despite geographical and logistical hurdles. Local stakeholders and departmental officials expressed optimism that these newly minted assets will immediately benefit vulnerable populations and youth groups.
Looking ahead, the Social Welfare Department anticipates rolling out additional phased infrastructure projects aimed at expanding administrative outreach and community service capabilities throughout Nagaland over the upcoming fiscal quarters.
