Kohima College and TM GHSS Unite for Campus Cleanliness Drive

Kohima College and the TM Government Higher Secondary School officially inaugurated a collaborative cleanliness campaign on Tuesday during a special joint event hosted on the Kohima College grounds, designed to rid their academic environments of all waste products.
This cooperative effort arrives as educational facilities across the region face growing pressure to integrate environmental stewardship into their daily operations, building upon previous localized sanitation drives to create a more permanent cultural shift toward sustainability.
According to reports by the Nagaland Post, organizers emphasized that maintaining immaculate school grounds is vital not only for aesthetics but for instilling lifelong civic duties in students, drawing praise from community leaders and faculty alike.
Moving forward, participating administrators intend to monitor the progress of the sanitation drive closely while laying the groundwork for peer-to-peer mentoring programs that could eventually spread the zero-waste model to other schools throughout the district.
