MUMBAI — Yash Raj Films announced on Monday that its upcoming high-stakes romantic action-drama, pairing 'Saiyaara' breakout star Ahaan Panday alongside leading actress Sharvari, has been officially titled 'Beparwah'. The major industry disclosure was made public exactly five months ahead of the feature's scheduled global theatrical debut.
Helmed by renowned director Ali Abbas Zafar, the project represents a strategic casting move by the iconic studio, blending fresh cinematic talent with established marquee direction. The film aims to capitalize on Panday's rapidly rising popularity following his standout performance in 'Saiyaara', paired with Sharvari's expanding footprint in mainstream commercial cinema.
According to industry reports published by Variety, the studio is positioning the feature as a premier theatrical event, merging intense romantic drama with high-octane action sequences. Insiders suggest that the production leverages Zafar's signature knack for large-scale commercial spectacle while anchoring the narrative in a deeply emotional core.
As the five-month countdown to the global premiere begins, Yash Raj Films is expected to ramp up its promotional campaign, with teaser trailers and music drops anticipated in the coming weeks. The release will serve as a crucial test for the box-office viability of new-generation leading men in grand, studio-backed action franchises.
